Los Gatos Integrated Applied Systems LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides the Water Polo Log mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information collection, use, and disclosure.

1. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, location data, or usage metrics. All game logs and statistics are created by the user and stored entirely on the user’s device. Live scoreboard timing is received locally over a special wireless network (from a companion receiver device) and is not transmitted to external servers or over the internet.

2. User Content and Exports

Game data entered in the App (game logs, statistics, and game sheets) stays on the device unless the user explicitly exports or shares it. Exports (such as game files, CSV files, or PDF game sheets) are created locally and handed to the destination the user chooses through the standard iOS share mechanisms. We never receive a copy.

3. Device Permissions

To provide its core functionality, the App may request access to certain device features. These permissions are used exclusively for local operations:

  • Bluetooth: Used to scan for and connect to a companion Water Polo Board to receive live scoreboard timing data over a local wireless network connection. This is optional; the App is fully functional without a Board. No tracking or location data is associated with Bluetooth operations, and no data is shared externally.

4. Network Communications

The App performs secure HTTPS network requests to a static public file host for a single purpose: to check for and download updates to the firmware of a companion wpboard hardware device. These requests do not send any user identifiers, analytics, or personal data.

5. Third-Party Services and Platform Analytics

The App does not integrate with any third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media SDKs. We do not collect or track user analytics or usage metrics. However, Apple may collect standard, anonymous, opt-in crash logs, diagnostics, and app usage telemetry when the App is downloaded and run through the App Store, in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policies and user settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Because our App does not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect or solicit personal data from children.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices or app features. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date at the top. The user is encouraged to review this policy periodically.
