Water Polo Referee Companion

Water Polo Referee Companion keeps your eyes on the water. Paired with a Water Polo Board, it follows the game clock, shot clock, and score, and speaks short cues to your earpiece at the moments that matter, so you never have to look away from the play to check the clocks or scoreboard.

What it tells you

Each cue is short, spoken, and can be turned on or off on its own:

“Reset”: the shot clock has reset.
“Shot five”: five seconds left on the shot clock.
“Game ten”: ten seconds left on the game clock.
“Under one minute”: under a minute left in the period.
“Shot clock is game clock”: the game clock has dropped below the shot clock.
“Score is X to Y”: the score has changed.

How you hear it

Cues play through your phone’s headphones or a Bluetooth headset, the kind many referees already wear on deck. They reach you even with your phone in a pocket. Verified to work with popular water polo referee radios (EJEAS V4C).*

What you need

A paired Water Polo Board at a pool with a compatible scoreboard.
Your phone, with wired or Bluetooth headphones.

It speaks only to you. It is not a two-way radio and does not connect referees to one another.
